Happy Mother’s Day
from all of us at The Feather Project 💐

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.”
— Psalm 91:4

Today we celebrate the strength, sacrifice, tenderness, resilience, and love of mothers everywhere…
the biological moms, bonus moms, grandmothers, foster moms, grieving moms, praying moms, single moms, spiritual moms, and the women who simply show up every day loving others well.

May you be reminded today that you are seen, valued, appreciated, and deeply loved.

Thank you for the countless ways you nurture hearts, carry burdens, offer comfort, and help others find refuge beneath your wings.

Happy Mother’s Day 💕
With love,
The FEATHER Project

“ Momma Terri, it’s gonna be cold the next few nights… do you have any blankets we can use?”

And whew… that one hits every time.

Because you look at the forecast and it’s not just numbers… it’s faces. It’s people you know. People you’ve hugged. People you care about trying to make it through the night.

So yeah… we don’t sit on that.

We start pulling blankets, checking what we’ve got, figuring out what we need, making it happen. Because when it’s cold like that, it’s not a “maybe later” kind of thing. It’s a right now.

We say it all the time… we do what needs to be done. And this is one of those moments.

Let’s make sure nobody we know is out there trying to stay warm without what they need 🤍

Life happens.
People go through things.
Hard days… setbacks… pressures… broken relationships… unexpected storms.

When you’re walking through it, it’s easy to pull back.
Easy to disconnect.
Easy to think no one sees or cares.

But one thing the street has taught me is this: people were never meant to do life alone.

That’s a big part of why we do Saturday Sharing through The Feather Project.
It’s not just about hoodies, socks, breakfast burritos, or hygiene supplies.

It’s about connection.
It’s about reminding someone, “You matter. You’re not forgotten. We see you.”

And sometimes what someone needs most isn’t just a sandwich or a pair of socks…
sometimes they just need someone to believe in them again.

That’s exactly how our HardHats to Hammers for Opportunity initiative was born.

A few young men came up one Saturday.
They had jobs starting Monday in construction… but they didn’t have the tools they needed to show up ready.

A hard hat.
A hammer.

Simple things most people take for granted.

But in that moment, those tools were the difference between staying stuck and stepping forward.

So we stepped in.
Our community stepped in.

And those men walked onto their job sites equipped, encouraged, and ready to work.

That’s what this ministry is about.

Not just meeting needs…
but helping people take their next step forward.

Building people up.
Encouraging them.
Helping them reach the dreams that are still inside them.

Because sometimes all someone needs is a little support, a little kindness, and someone who says,

“You can do this. Let’s go.”

And when we work together like that…
we become a team God uses to change lives.

Our next Share day is coming up!!
Our group Saturday Sharing has all the details!!

03/07/2026

Join us in prayer for our Share day tomorrow!!

Heavenly Father,

Tonight we pause and thank You for calling us to serve.
As we prepare for tomorrow’s Share Day, quiet our hearts and remind us why we do this.

Help us to see every person we meet through Your eyes.
Let our words bring encouragement, our hands bring help, and our presence bring hope.

Prepare the hearts of the men, women and families who will come tomorrow.
Remind them that they are more than lucky — they are deeply blessed and deeply loved by You.

Fill our team with patience, compassion, and joy.
Let everything we do reflect Your kindness and Your faithfulness.

Bless the conversations that will happen, the prayers that will be shared, and the simple moments of connection that mean so much.

Lord, may tomorrow be more than just giving things.
May it be a reminder that Your love shows up in real ways through real people.

Guide our steps, protect our team, and let Your presence be felt in every moment.

Amen 💚🍀

Today we pause to remember the lives taken by overdose.

Behind every balloon was a person — someone with dreams, laughter, stories, and a life that mattered. They were someone’s child, someone’s friend, someone’s family. They were deeply loved, and they are deeply missed.

Today we remember them with compassion and honor their lives. We stand with the families who carry the weight of that loss every day.

And we keep working, praying, and believing for a world where recovery is possible, support is available, and hope is never lost. ❤️

As we step into a new year of serving, we want to pause and say thank you to the incredible team who shows up—early mornings, cold days, long conversations, heavy loads, and open hearts.
To the faithful $5 Friday donors, to all the generous supporters who contribute in so many ways, clothing, shoes, essentials, food, snacks.. to our amazing prayer warriors who keep our mission covered! For those who consistently like and share our posts!!! We are all in this together!
We definitely lived into our theme in 2025… Strive!!

And with that We are excited to officially share The Feather Project’s 2026 theme:

Covered by His Wings. Equipped to RISE .

This theme reflects who we are and how we serve.

Covered by His Wings
We provide refuge—food, warmth, essentials, dignity, and presence—especially through Saturday Sharing and Wings of Refuge!
Equipped to Rise
We help create pathways forward—tools, opportunity, encouragement, and hope—through initiatives like HardHats & Hammers for Opportunity, and our ERIC Fund.

Because of YOU, this ministry is more than outreach.
It’s relationship.
It’s consistency.
It’s empowerment.

We don’t just meet needs—we help people RISE! .

Thank you for being the hands, feet, and wings of this work. Thank you for serving with compassion, humility, and faith.

Under His wings, we serve—together, we RISE.

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” — Psalm 91:4
“They will rise up with wings like eagles.” — Isaiah 40:31

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Today we pause with grateful hearts for each of you who pours love, time, resources, and compassion into our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Whether you donate, pray, pack, pick up, prepare, or show up on the sidewalk with a smile—you make Saturday Sharing what it is: a place of dignity, hope, and genuine community.

We are thankful for your steadfast hearts, your generosity that never wavers, and the way you serve with joy. Because of you, hands are warmed, bellies are filled, burdens are lifted, and lives are touched every single week.

May your day be filled with peace, gratitude, and the blessings of knowing you make a difference.

With love and appreciation—Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡🍂
