🎉✨ BIG NEWS FOR POTTSTOWN! ✨🎉

We are honored and excited to announce that Pottstown Heritage Group has been awarded a $5,000 Community Engagement Grant through Leading on Opportunity, funded by the Sustainable Cities Fund!
This investment will allow us to continue strengthening our community through:

🚍 Transit Advocacy – Supporting equitable and reliable transportation options for residents.
🗣️ Community Outreach – Sharing information, listening to community concerns, and ensuring every voice has a seat at the table.
❤️ Resident Engagement – Building partnerships, empowering neighbors, and creating opportunities for meaningful community involvement.

This grant will support our participation in the Community Transit Coalition and help us engage residents around the implementation of Charlotte's transportation initiatives and future transit opportunities.
At Pottstown Heritage Group, we believe strong communities are built when residents are informed, connected, and empowered. This funding helps us continue that mission and expand our impact throughout the Pottstown and North Mecklenburg communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Leading on Opportunity and the Sustainable Cities Fund for believing in our work and investing in community-driven solutions.

Access to fresh, healthy food just got a little easier!

Residents in North Mecklenburg County who receive SNAP/EBT benefits may now qualify for FREE transportation to local farmers markets through the Farmers Market Transit Program.

Eligible participants can receive up to four round trips to:
📍 Davidson Farmers Market
📍 Huntersville Growers' Market
📍 North Meck Community Farmers Market (Cornelius)

Not only can you get a free ride, but you can also stretch your food dollars even further through SNAP Double Bucks, helping you purchase more fresh fruits, vegetables, and local products.

Tomorrow is our very first Night Market of the season at North Meck Community Farmers Market 🌙✨

Join us from 5 PM to 7 PM for an evening filled with local vendors, fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, handmade items, delicious food, live music, and more. Our Night Markets feature an even larger variety of vendors and are the perfect way to spend a summer evening while supporting local farmers, makers, and small businesses.
