Hi Barracudas Families!

We are so excited to host the Hampton Hammerheads tonight! To ensure everything runs smoothly, please take a moment to review the following schedule and important team reminders.

1. Schedule & Warm-Ups
- 4:00 PM: Doors open
- 5:05 PM – 5:25 PM: Birkdale Warm-Ups
- 5:30 PM – 5:50 PM: Hamptons Warm-Ups
- 5:35 PM: Officials & Timers Meeting (1st & 2nd Sessions) – meet in the clubhouse
- 5:50 PM: Events 1-4 (10 & Under medley relays) report to Clerk of Course
- 5:55 PM: National Anthem
- 6:00 PM: Meet Starts Promptly

2. Concessions (Cash or Card accepted)
Come hungry! We have a great lineup tonight:
- Jimmy Johns: Turkey Tom, Ham & Cheese, and Italian subs.
- Chick-fil-A: 8-piece Nuggets and Pepperoni/Cheese Pizza by the slice.
- Snacks & Drinks: Chips, candy, soda, Gatorade, and water.
- Special Guest: Concetto’s Italian Ice!

3. Important Reminders for Parents
- Team Spirit: Please encourage our swimmers to stay on the deck to cheer on their teammates. Please help us keep them from playing outside the gates, especially on the sand volleyball courts.
- Keep Our Grounds Clean: We are responsible for the pool deck and surrounding areas. If you are eating or drinking outside the gates, please be sure to clean up after yourselves so we can keep our home base looking great!
- Volunteer Check-In: If you haven’t yet fulfilled your volunteer hours for the season and are joining us tonight, please make sure to stop by the volunteer table when you arrive so we can get you checked in and set up with your role. Thank you for making these meets possible!

Please see the attached heat sheets for tonight’s events. Note the following combined events:
- Events 7 & 8
- Event 33 (heat 1) with Event 34 (heat 1)
- Events 36 & 38
- Event 56 (heat 1) with Event 57 (heat 1)

Hello Barracudas Families,

We have an exciting couple of days ahead! Please see the important updates below:

1. Tomorrow: 8 & Under Speedy Meet #2
- Date: Saturday, June 20th
- Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Location: At Home (Gates open at 8:45 AM)
- Come out and cheer on our little Barracudas!

2. Monday: The Hamptons @ Birkdale
- Action Needed: Please complete your swimmer’s RSVP as soon as possible and sign up for volunteer roles.

3. End-of-Season Swim Banquet
- Date: June 24th
- Action Needed: Please REGISTER HERE (https://birkdale-swim-team.square.site/) by the end of the day, Sunday, June 21st, so we can finalize our headcount with Sparetime.
- Call for Photos: Did you take amazing pictures during the season? We would love to feature them in the banquet slideshow! Please drop them in the link in your email.

Hello Barracudas Families,

What an incredible season it has been! To celebrate all of our amazing swimmers, their hard work, and a fantastic summer, it’s time for our End of Season Banquet!

- When: Wednesday, June 24th, from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Where: Spare Time Huntersville (16317 Statesville Rd)
- The Plan: We will kick off with food, bowling and arcade fun, followed by our annual team awards presentation.
- Action Required: Please click here (LINK: https://birkdale-swim-team.square.site) for registration for your family so we can finalize our headcount with the venue.
- Deadline for RSVP: EOD Sunday, June 21st.

Important Details:
- All Tickets include Pizza, non-alcoholic drinks, and bowling lanes
• Swimmers are fully covered, but we need you to select the specific quantity along with the name and ages of each.
• Family members and siblings are welcome to attend for a small fee of $12pp.
- Sparetime discounted cards available for purchase with your registration.
• $6 for a card valued at $10
• $12 for a card valued at $20!

Thank you all for a wonderful season, and we can’t wait to celebrate the kids next Wednesday!

📋 Volunteer & Parent Reminders:
- Check-In: All volunteers must check in by 5:00 PM (unless your specific role dictates otherwise). The volunteer table will be near the entrance for both teams.
- 5:35 PM — Volunteer info session meeting - Officials gather in the clubhouse
- Safety: If you are volunteering, please absolutely avoid adult beverages before and during your shift.
- Swimmer Prep: Please arrive with your swimmer’s Event-Heat-Lane along with First and Last Name clearly marked on their back.

🚗 Parking & Logistics (Map attached):
- Drop-Off: Please feel free to drop off swimmers, chairs, and supplies at the pool first before parking. Birkdale families please consider walking/riding bike.
- Street Parking: Please bring your patience! Refer to the attached map for designated street parking areas. Signage will also be posted on the street to guide you. Important to note Devonshire St. (where pool is located) parking only on poolside of street.

🎪 Deck Layout & Team Areas:
Feel free to bring tents, chairs, and coolers. Please keep walking paths clear for coaches/swimmers and do not move any ropes or facility chairs. We just ask that no tents are set up on the pool end opposite the blocks.

- Birkdale Team Area: Set up on splash pad side closest to street.
- River Run Team Area: Set up on the deck side closest to the playground.

Clerk of Course: 3 benches Under white pergola on respective team side, with a row of chairs behind the block for the next heat.
