We are looking forward to swimming with LSG Stingrays this Saturday, June 13th!

Please note: We are starting with Event #5 and most relays are combined, so the beginning of the meet will move very fast.

⏱️ The Timeline:
- 7:30 AM – 7:45 AM: Barracudas Warm-Ups (Please arrive early parking is limited!)
- 7:40 AM: All-Timer Meeting (Shifts 1 & 2) – Near main entrance restrooms in the shade.
- 7:45 AM: Stroke & Turn Meeting – Under the main entrance pergola by the starter.
- 8:00 AM: Meet Starts with Event #5!

📍 Location, Parking & Food:
- Address: 6003 Hayes Ridge Court, Huntersville.
- Parking: Minimal space available—please carpool! Park on one side of the street only per the posted signs.
- Food Trucks: Latin Stop, Country Kitchen, and Swanky Straw Fruity Lemonades will be on-site!

🏟️ Team Setup & Deck Rules:
- Family Area: Set up camp under the back pavilion, by the playground, or behind the fence opposite the blocks. Space is wooded and shade is limited, so bring tents and bug spray! Volunteers and swimmers are the only campers on deck.
- Swimmer Gathering (Crucial): Swimmers must stay inside the gates in designated team areas with coaches/volunteers, not with families. If a child is missing when their event is called, they will miss their race. Quick visits outside the gate are fine, but send them back quickly!
- Parent Viewing: Pool deck is standing room only. Please enter to watch your child’s race, then kindly step back outside the gate so the next parents can see. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of the deck near the main entrance.

🤝 Sportsmanship & Combined Events:
Please remind your swimmers to show great sportsmanship by high-fiving and congratulating opponents after every race!

To keep the meet moving efficiently, the following events have been combined: 6&7 (8&U Medley), 12&13 (11&12 Medley), 14&15 (13&14 Medley), 40&41 (8&U IM), 74 Heat 2 & 75 (12&U Free Relay), 76&77 (13&14 Free Relay), 78&79 (15-18 Free Relay).

Weather Delay 6/9: Weather Delay & 9-10 practice adjustment. Due to the current weather situation we have decided to cancel the 4:30pm practice. Provided the weather clears, this group is welcome to come at 6pm instead.

Right now forecasts look good for our “speedy” and we are going to plan to open the doors at 5pm with a 5:15pm start time.

Hello 8 and Under parents,

We have an exciting change of pace for tonight’s Speedy Meet! We are inviting ALL of our 8 and under swimmers in lieu of practice.

The Details:

- Time: Warm-ups start at 5:00 PM, and we will be done no later than 6:00 PM.
- Events: The kids will race two individual events and one relay.
- RSVP: No need to RSVP! This is a relaxed, intra-squad event.

Since this is our very first time running a “Speedy Meet” format, please come with a extra dose of patience as we figure out the pacing. Our main goal is to create a fun, inviting environment for our littles to build their confidence on the blocks and in the water.

Parents: It is not required, but if you are interested in lending an extra hand to help line kids up or click a stopwatch, just let us know when you arrive.

See you at the pool tonight!

Hello Barracudas Families,

We have another fun-filled, action-packed week ahead with several major schedule shifts! We are holding our very first Speedy Meet, transitioning into our summer practice schedule, and taking a pause to celebrate the end of the school year with the HOA Social Committee.

Please review the important action items and updates below carefully.

🚨 IMMEDIATE ACTION ITEMS

- Swimmer RSVPs: RSVPs for the Latta Springs and River Run meets are due NOW. Please log in to SwimTopia and declare your swimmers.
- Parent Volunteers: Volunteer shifts for all upcoming meets are completely open. As a reminder, each family is required to complete a minimum of two sessions per season. Thank you for stepping up to help our team run smoothly!

⏱️ Tomorrow (Monday, June 8th): First “Speedy Meet”!

Tomorrow evening, we are hosting our very first Speedy Meet for our 8 & Under swimmers!

- When: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (In lieu of standard evening practice).
- What to do: You do not need to look up heat or lane assignments ahead of time. Just bring your swimmer a few minutes before 5:00 PM and the coaches will take care of the rest!
- Cheer Section: We invite all of our 9 & Up swimmers and parents to come out to the deck and cheer our littlest Barracudas on!
- Deck Merch & Deals: We will have merchandise set up on the deck, including discounted shirts from past seasons. We will also be selling Spare Time cards (a $10 value) for only $6 and (a $20 value) for only $12!

⏰ New Summer Practice Schedule

Starting tomorrow, Monday, June 8th, we officially transition to our summer routine.

💡 Friendly Reminder: During evening practices, we share the pool with the community, which cuts our available lanes in half. If attending morning practice is an option for your family, please try to come in the morning so we can comfortably accommodate all of our swimmers!
