What an incredible day at the 2nd Annual Kicking Cancer’s Bass event at Blythe Landing!

Even though boat numbers were lower this year, we made up for it with laughs, smiles, and unforgettable memories. Thanks to the amazing Lake Norman community and our volunteer boaters, every Cool Kids family that attended got to enjoy time out on the water fishing — and one of our Cool Kids even weighed in two bass during the tournament!

A huge thank you to our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers who helped make this event possible. Because of Foothills Marine and all of our anglers, we had 148 fish weighed in for the “Reeling in Hope” campaign!

A huge THANK YOU to Sip & Paint for hosting such a beautiful Mother’s Day event for our Cool Kids moms on Friday evening. 💐🎨

At Cool Kids Clubhouse, our mission is to improve the lives of children battling cancer and their families through year-round social, academic, emotional, and recreational support programs provided at no cost to the families we serve.

For moms walking through the childhood cancer journey with their children, evenings like this are so meaningful. Moments of laughter, creativity, connection, and normalcy can be hard to come by during treatment and uncertainty. Being surrounded by other moms who truly understand the journey creates support that lasts far beyond one evening.

We are incredibly grateful to Lace Sip & Paint for opening their hearts and helping create such a special experience for these amazing women and families. ❤️

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please bring 5 fish to the scales — even if you don’t think you’ll place!

Thanks to Foothills Marine, $10 per fish weighed in will be donated directly to Cool Kids Clubhouse — that’s up to $50 per boat helping local childhood cancer patients, survivors, and their families! 💛
