As I have sat here for days, trying to find the right words, my heart breaks for the McKay family. When one of our own walks this journey, they become part of our Fight the Good Fight family. We stand beside them, fight alongside them, cry with them, and grieve with them.
Today, our hearts are heavy because this kind of pain never truly goes away. It leaves a mark on all of us, and Brady’s memory, light, and legacy of service will always stay with this community. Please continue to keep the McKay family and all who loved Brady in your thoughts and prayers during this profoundly painful time.
It is with deep sorrow that our brain tumor community grieves the loss of Brady McKay. We hold close the memory of his strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit—qualities that made him a cherished son, brother, friend, and valued member of our community. Brady was a courageous fighter who faced cancer with grace and bravery, never allowing it to diminish his dreams or his heart for serving others.
