Imagine receiving a text message telling you that you can vote online, or asking you to share personal information to confirm your voter registration.

It may look official. It may sound urgent. But that doesn’t make it true.

As Election Day approaches, Mayra Carmona reminds our Latino community that misinformation can create confusion, spread fear, and undermine confidence in the voting process.

Federal elections do not allow online voting. Always verify voting instructions through official election websites before sharing personal information or clicking suspicious links.
