On friday, 9 October 2026, Change Care Foundation (CCF), alongside the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family (MINPROFF), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), joined voices with fellow advocates to send one clear message: STOP FEMICIDE!

Love should never end in the grave. Love should value, support, respect and protect not destroy. This advocacy walk was more than a call to action. It was a call for tolerance, respect, justice and accountability. Women and girls deserve to feel safe in their homes and in society. No one should live in fear of the very people or places meant to offer safety and love.

At Change Care Foundation, we believe that women’s lives matter, every life matters, and violence must never be normalised or excused. Together, let us continue to raise our voices, challenge harmful attitudes and work towards a society where women and girls can live freely, safely and with dignity.

Change Care Foundation is much honored to be participating in the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Case Management Training taking place at Capitol Hotel.

The training is organized and facilitated by TEENALIVE and WACAMEROON, with technical support from UNFPA, under the project titled “ Woman Eh! Wuna Place Dey.” The initiative is funded by the European Union, Cooperation Allemande (German Cooperation), BMZ, and GIZ, whose support continues to strengthen efforts aimed at preventing and responding to Gender-Based Violence and promoting the rights, protection, and empowerment of women and girls. The first day of training focused on key foundational topics including: • Basic Gender Concepts • Power and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) • Consequences of GBV • Causes and Context of GBV This training presents an important opportunity to strengthen knowledge and skills in survivor-centered case management, deepen understanding of gender dynamics, and enhance efforts to address and prevent GBV within our communities.
Change Care Foundation remains committed to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and collaborative action that promotes the dignity, safety, and well-being of women and girls.

We extend our sincere appreciation to TEENALIVE, WACAMEROON, UNFPA, the European Union, Cooperation Allemande, BMZ, and GIZ for their leadership, partnership, and commitment to advancing GBV prevention and response initiatives.

People with albinism have the right to be treated with respect and equality. They must be included in decisions that affect their lives and in important human rights discussions to combat discrimination.

Through the leadership of our Executive Director, Change Care Foundation successfully participated in the GBVIMS Training for GBV Service Providers NW/SW.

This impactful 5-day training was organized by TeenAlive - Cameroon with technical support from UNFPA Cameroon , under the BMZ and EU-funded "Women Eh" project.
The session focused on strengthening the technical capacity of service providers in the Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS).

Change Care Foundation is now better equipped to collect, manage, and share GBV data responsibly, contributing to safer communities and more coordinated protection services for women and girls.

We extend our sincere appreciation to TeenAlive and UNFPA for this valuable capacity-building opportunity.
Together, we continue to build stronger systems for GBV prevention and response.
