Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community in Australia following a horrific attack at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney that claimed the lives of at least 11 people.
As we grieve for those killed in this terrorist attack and in a mass shooting at Brown University only hours earlier, Hillel remains committed to the safety and well-being of Jewish students everywhere -- and to being a place of support during moments like this.
Hanukkah reminds us that even in times of darkness and mourning, we choose light. We will continue to care for our students, support our communities, and stand together with strength and resilience.
