IABC Houston holds monthly professional development events on the fourth Thursday at Brennan's of Houston. On the second Thursday of each month, our Entrepreneurs Strategic Interest Group (ESIG) meets at the fabulous LaGriglia for programming of interest to freelancers. We also hold regular networking and social mixer events, occasional workshops and after-hours programs.

IABC Houston wants to thank you for attending the 2026 Bronze Quill Awards Gala to celebrate communicators across Texas and our 8️⃣0️⃣th anniversary. We hope you all had a wonderful time at Rice University with your peers and guests. Our night was full of awards! We awarded over 3️⃣5️⃣ Bronze Quills this year. To every entrant: thank you for saying yes, thank you for being willing to put yourself out there.

🏆 Our winners for Award of Merit and Award of Excellence include Savage Brands, University of Houston, Law Center, Pierpont Communications, Baylor College of Medicine, and more.

🏆 Best of Division 1 went to Elmore for their amazing project, "Honoring President Jimmy Carter’s Legacy with Houston Habitat for Humanity, Inc."

🏆 🏆 Best of Show was a tie between Quill & Ink (Elizabeth LePori Fordham) and Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University. Elizabeth LePori Fordham blew the judges away with "The Spiderweb Effect" project and Texas Real Estate Research Center impressed our judges with the "Tierra Grande: Wrangling Texas Water" entry.
