💛What is your favorite part about volunteering at Aishel House? Meeting the patients, and hopefully putting a smile on their faces. Hospitals are not happy places but the people always light up and are always so sweet and grateful. We also really love to be able to give. Giving back is really important. We get so much out of it!
🎨Would you rather only be able to paint or cook? Paint for sure, we hate the kitchen:)

🫶What is your favorite part about staying at Aishel House? Everything, all the people at Aishel House are my family, like the angels on the earth. I stayed here and made friends with Sylvia who is also from Mexico City and I didn’t even know before coming! Hashem plans it perfectly to have everyone I need here.
😋Would you rather only be able to eat pizza or pasta forever? Pasta, we can eat pasta with everything!

💗What is your favorite part about volunteering at Aishel House? I enjoy everyone here. All the staff and residents are really nice and I enjoy the community of it!
🌊Would you rather only be able to crawl or only be able to swim? Probably swim bec it’s good exercise and I would spend a lot more time in water which could open up some doors for me!

❓What? Through their beautiful organization, Art for All Homes, donated curated art pieces for the apartments in Aishel House.
⏰When? They worked so kindly with Aishel House’s schedule to come at a time that worked for the residents, staff and volunteers!
📍Where? In almost every room in each apartment - they chose the perfect pieces that would fit with each space, furniture and lighting!
🖼️How? Via a professional Art Hanger who quickly and efficiently hung up all the pieces!

Aishel House is extremely grateful to and Catherine Wile for giving of their time, talent and heart to elevate Aishel House in such a beautiful way! 💝

😋Favorite food: We literally like everything but if we had to pick one, it would be fried chicken - a classic. 🍗
💚What is your favorite part about volunteering at Aishel House? We enjoy how calming the environment is. It makes us feel like we’re at home, it’s just so comfortable. Also, we really enjoy that it is for our people, our community.
🔥🧊Would you rather only be able to eat hot foods or cold foods? Hot 100%, because we’re always cold and I need to be warmed up. Also there are more foods that are better hot!

What’s your favorite part about staying at Aishel house? Easy - we could have had a lonely time if we stayed in a hotel. But because of Aishel House we have friends and community and it changed our entire time here.
Would you rather always wear slippers or always wear boots?
Boots because I find it hard to walk quickly in slippers. I can’t imagine shuffling around town in slippers!

We love you and are so glad you get to go home! We will miss you tons here, especially at your table for two!
