Hope House- Joy Closet Joy Closet has seen so many stories about children being taken from their homes and social workers not being able to immediately find a placement for them.

These children end up sleeping on a couch or air mattress in a DCBS office. This is heartbreaking.

This isn't an unmade bed... This is a bed that gave rest on a horrible day, welcomed a guest in the house, this is HOPE for a child entering foster care.

We are always heartbroken for guests for what they are going through, but are so grateful to have a place to welcome them and make them feel loved. 🤍

Thank you to Shawn Langston for stocking our freezer with meals that can be pulled out and heated up in a moments notice for guests that join us at the Hope House! Giving a home cooked meal to a guest and their DCBS worker is such a joy for us, just one less thing for them to worry about.

We want to give a HUGE thank you shout out to First Southern National Bank for their financial contribution towards car seats at the Hope House! We want to make sure whenever children are going to their foster home those foster parents have everything they need. Car seats aren't a luxury, they are a necessity to keep kiddos safe and that's what we are all trying to do.
