We are thankful for organizations like Men 2 Be that empower young men through mentorship, life skills, and encouragement. Thank you for the positive impact you continue to make in our community!

July YSAB meeting 💙

Our Youth Service Advisory Board met at United Way for our July meeting, and we’re excited about the ideas and plans we discussed to better serve the at risk youth in our community.

We also took the opportunity to capture a group photo of our amazing board members. We’re looking forward to putting these ideas into action and making a positive impact for the young people of Christian County!

Many people ask how YSAB supports the Hopkinsville Group Home.

Because every young person deserves hope, encouragement, and the opportunity for a brighter future.

The Hopkinsville Group Home is a state-operated residential program serving up to eight teenage boys from across Kentucky. Through education, counseling, life-skills training, vocational opportunities, and accountability, these young men are given the tools to make positive changes and successfully return to their communities.

YSAB is honored to support them by providing incentives that celebrate progress, encourage positive choices, and remind them that their future is bigger than their past.

A small act of encouragement today can change the course of a life tomorrow. 🌈💙💚

✨ Better late than never! ✨

We may be a little late sharing the news, but it’s one worth celebrating!

Congratulations to our $1,500 YSAB Scholarship recipient! 🥳🎉

The recipient’s goals include pursuing a career in sports while earning a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, with plans to become a fitness trainer or strength and conditioning coach. Beyond career ambitions, they hope to build a strong family, travel, and use their life to encourage others through their faith and by sharing the Gospel.

In their scholarship application, the recipient described themselves as hardworking, determined, and resilient. They emphasized that challenges and setbacks have fueled their motivation to keep moving forward and that they are committed to making their family proud. They also shared that they have thoughtfully planned for their future, with both primary and backup goals in place.

The scholarship committee was inspired by the recipient’s honesty, perseverance, and dedication to personal growth. Their application reflected a genuine desire to succeed, give back, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Congratulations to this year’s recipient, and best wishes as they begin this exciting new chapter!

Sometimes, you don’t always realize the impact you’re making until years later.

A former youth who participated in one of our programs recently reached out…now 32 years old. Just to share how much those experiences meant and how they helped shape their life. Messages like that are a reminder that investing in our youth creates ripples that last far beyond childhood.

At the Christian County Youth Services Advisory Board (YSAB), we’re committed to supporting, encouraging, and creating opportunities for young people to grow, succeed, and know they matter. Every program, every mentor, every volunteer, and every act of kindness has the potential to change a life.

Thank you to everyone who supports YSAB and believes in our youth. Together, we’re helping plant seeds today that will continue to grow for years to come. 💙
