Behind Stage4Hope is a story of resilience, faith, and choosing to turn an unimaginable diagnosis into hope for others. 🤍
In December 2023, our founder, Stacy L. Carter, was diagnosed with Stage IV ROS1-positive lung cancer. Suddenly, she found herself navigating not only cancer, but delays in care, confusing genetic testing, insurance roadblocks, and the emotional weight that comes with an advanced-stage diagnosis.
But Stacy chose to turn her experience into purpose.
Through her own journey with targeted therapy and now a clinical trial, Stacy has experienced firsthand just how powerful access to the right treatment, resources, and support can be. That experience became the heart behind Stage4Hope — a place created so others facing advanced cancer don’t have to navigate the hardest moments alone.
Today, Stacy continues to live with incredible faith, gratitude, and purpose — as a mother, leader, advocate, and someone who understands deeply what it means to hold onto hope in the face of uncertainty.
Stage4Hope is more than an organization. It’s a piece of Stacy’s story, built to remind others that even in a Stage IV diagnosis, there can still be options, meaningful moments, purpose, and so much hope. 💛
