Mountain Findings of Highlands A volunteer run non-profit 501(c)3 resale thrift store featuring furniture, home accessories, linens and art in all price ranges.

Donations are tax deductible and proceeds go directly back in our communities, in grants, scholarships, and disaster relief. Mountain Findings of Highlands, North Carolina started in 1969 and on May 10, 1972, became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Since then, nearing $6 MILLION has been given back into our community through grants. From humble beginnings over half a century ago, the first grant

s given out totaled $200. Mountain Findings emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
