Chris was voted Class Clown and Prom King in 2003 by his fellow classmates. He was also awarded the Golden Hammer Award twice during his high school career. His drive for success was perhaps his most admirable trait. Despite any challenges he was faced with, Chris still remained driven. During his senior year, he worked full time, leaving school early to drive to his job up in Green Brook, NJ as a
part of his work study program. After graduation he was highly successful in his career. After 6 years of hard work and saving, Chris was the very first graduate of our class to own his own home. Being the craftsman that he was, Chris took on all of the renovations himself, along with the help of some family and friends. Unfortunately, one year later, on February 13, 2010, Chris passed away. His spirit remains with us all today as we remember our hard working, fun loving, and energetic buddy. Chris was a dedicated son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He spread his love and joy without hesitation and offered a helping hand whenever it was needed, no questions asked. We carry on that spirit and dedication with the Chris Parker Memorial Scholarship in hopes to assist a young person with similar qualities as Chris to achieve his or her future goals.
