Howdy Ya’ll! My name is Stetson. Not a common name for a Standardbred but I love it! I’m a standard size at 15.1hh. Perfect if you ask me! I’m coming up on my second decade of life and I’m ready for a change. I was worked hard most of my life but a couple years ago I got to retire and start a new kind of life thanks to the cowgirl who took me home. I’ve become a lot more confident, put on 70 pounds, and am not even afraid of a crop anymore! I have lots of friends and loooove the ladies. I’ve been on some trail rides and do better with but sometimes I get a little excited, especially when I know we’re on the way home. So it would be best if whoever takes me on trail rides is a pretty experienced rider. Being outside is my favorite thing, much more so than going in the barn. I get to go for walks outside (sometimes my cowgirl doesn’t even hold onto the rope), hang out with my friends, check out the ladies in the next pasture, and I even follow directions really well in the outdoor arena. You know that I have great manners too. I can’t wait to meet you at my barn in Stillwater, MN and always remember to be kind (like me), tip your hat, and smile.

Psst. Come closer. I have a Secret to tell you. That is my name - Secret! LOL! I am an adorable 14hh, bay, Morgan/Arab cross at only 11 years old. I have not been ridden for 4 years. My owner got hurt when I spooked at a squirrel. They are my arch enemies. I was doing low level dressage in an indoor arena. I am not ready for the outside world. Anything squirrel-like and I get worried. Otherwise I am calm, well mannered, good for the vet and the farrier, an easy keeper, a good friend and well, just overall wonderful! I would make the perfect project and partner for someone smaller with riding experience and/or a good trainer. Start out slowly to help me build my confidence and our bond, and we will be something magical together. I have other secrets to tell but you will need to meet me in River Falls, WI to find out. Just kidding but I would love to meet you and see if we are right for each other.

I am an Oldenburg cross, black beauty mare at 16.1hh. I am 18 years old and sadly have DSLD. I probably could be ponied around with a small person on my back when my DSLD is not flared up. It has been fine for a while so I am not on any medications. My name is Tia which means aunt in Spanish. Come to find out an excellent name choice. I am like everyone's favorite aunt. I am sweet and protective. I will take care of your herd whether geldings or mares, young or old, short or tall. I come with excellent manners and again a sweet disposition. You can probably guess that I am an easy keeper. I do like a little grain. It makes me feel special when I get some. Meet me in Marine on St. Croix, MN so I can make you feel special too.

Lord Greymouse here! Don't be intimidated by my name. I won't make you bow or anything like that unless you want to. I am a down to earth kind of boy. People usually call me Mouse which is kind of funny since I am like 17hh. LOL!!! I am also 17 years old. You can probably guess by my name that I am grey in color. I am a thoroughbred. Even though I am big, I have excellent manners and am well behaved for the vet and the farrier. The only time I am naughty is when I open a gate or a door. You will want to double latch otherwise you might find me on the other side of the fence where of course the grass is greener. I don't go far but I may not want to be caught right away. It is a great time to enjoy my big floaty trot. I wish that I didn't have kissing spine because I was awesome under saddle. But I am a loyal companion and a handsome pasture ornament. I would love for you to meet me in Stillwater, MN. Maybe you will get to witness my beautiful trot, hopefully on the correct side of the fence.

My name is Ember. I think it was picked because not only am I a chestnut mare but also I am hot. I mean, just look at that b***y. I am a 2020 American Indian Horse at about 14.1hh. I would make a great project horse. I am willing to have a halter put on and led around some but that is about it. I just have not been worked with. I am a bit pushy and protective of my best friend, Ralph. I do want to stay with him. We have traveled from Idaho and been together for years. I can be petted and groomed. Fortunately my hooves remain decent since I am not interested in spending time with the farrier. Come check me and Ralph out in Prescott, WI. I promise not to burn you!

They call me Ralph. I have no idea why but I am a little disappointed that I didn't get a cool or maybe hot name like my bestie, Ember. We have been together a long time and would like to stay together. My name may be a little blah but you will be impressed by my luscious mane and tail. I think Ember is jealous, that is probably why she likes to boss me around. She also protects me so it is okay. I am a 2020, 14hh, handsome bay, American Indian Horse from Idaho. I have had little training so I will be a project but look at how solid I am . We both can learn a lot. I am okay with pets and of course treats! You can meet me and Ember in Prescott, WI. We would bring good looks to your pasture.

Hi! My name is Gem. I am a gem of an Arabian/Saddlebred cross and pinto registered gelding at 15.1hh and 21 years old. I am a happy go lucky boy. Very sweet. Also handsome. People gush over my cute, adorable ears that tip inward. I am silly, especially when if comes to feeding time. I like to hold my front leg up like a flamingo when waiting for my grain. I am sure it helps me get it faster. LOL! I do have something called head shaking syndrome and a club foot so probably no riding even though I am sound. I am looking for a home where I can be adored as a pasture pet. I like grooming, long walks in hand, and just hanging out with you! I have great manners too. Come meet me in Sauk Rapids, MN. You will want to bring home this Gem!

Meet Koda.

Koda is a very handsome, in your pocket type quarter horse gelding. He is 15 hands tall, born in 2020. He is kind and friendly. First to greet you at the gate to be loved on. He is sometimes led around the yard by kids. He is quite a character too, as he loves to steal hats and run and play in the pasture. He walks great in hand and lunges. He is also good for the farrier. Due to a previous coffin bone injury, he has developed arthritis, and should not be ridden. He gets along well with herd mates and would be a great companion horse. He may also be a great prospect for 4h kids looking to do halter (non-riding) classes.

Koda is located in Dalbo,MN. If interested in Koda, please contact Bonnie at [email protected]

Hola! My name is Chica. I would love to be your 'girl' friend! I am a 2009, 13.2hh, gray though I look white, Paso Fino mare. I am soft to touch, have a soft heart and a soft eye. I guess I am a big softy. LOL! I have been ridden but not for a while. I am okay at a walk but not so sure about a trot. Maybe with some good vet and farrier care, I can be sound again. I probably should not be on grass. I have not been diagnosed but it wouldn't surprise me if I have Cushings. If you can look beyond all of that, I am so kind and friendly and have awesome manners though trailers scare me. I love to be groomed and have attention. I would make the best 'girl' friend ever for you and your horse(s). Please come meet me in Hawley, MN so you can see for yourself what a beauty I am inside and out.

Hey there! I am Hunter, a 2009, 15.1hh, Chestnut, Quarab gelding. I am retired from work under saddle due to arthritis. I have had a successful series of injections in my RF coffin bone. I am doing great! I think just being a companion is best for me, especially if with a mare. I’m a real gentleman, but there is just something about being with the ladies that pleases me. I love children and have no issues with cats or dogs. I have been well trained and have even gotten over being a little pushy. My vet discovered that a section of my small intestine is narrower than it should be, so I need soft forage (grass/alfalfa or blend), and my grain needs to be soaked. If not, I will show colic signs immediately. Proper attention to my need for a soft diet does the trick and keeps me healthy and happy. With my good looks and good manners, I will make an excellent companion to you and any horse(s) you have. I will find my way into your heart if you just find your way to Dayton, MN for a visit. I hope to see you soon!
