Hastings YMCA Glow Run

Hastings YMCA Glow Run The YMCA Glow Run has evolved from the Hastings River Run. This is our 7th year kicking off the annual Rivertown Days Festival.

An evening family race event where all proceeds benefit the Hastings YMCA Annual fund which subsidizes the cost of programming at the YMCA for those in our community. We offer this race as the sun is going down on the Thursday before the 3rd weekend in July. Complete with a 1 mile Family Fun Run and a 4 mile Glow Run, additionally there are many activities for kids and families to participate in.

These activities include: arts & crafts, GA-GA Pit, obstacle course, glow in the dark face paint, music, a photo booth, shaved ice, an outdoor movie and more! The idea here is to create a fun atmosphere and show your pride by dressing up in glow-tastic apparel and accessories and bring your family out for an evening that you are sure to remember!

Kona Ice is going to be there making some shaved ice for our participants - so bring a little $$ - the awesome news is that they are donating a nice percentage of the proceeds back to the Y in Hastings!
