It’s been a minute since we posted here! Yesterday we did our annual event in Savage at their Dan Patch Days - it was a hot one! Majors favorite part of the event was trying to catch the eyes of the Mounted Patrol. Plenty of grass was eaten and lots of scratches and pets were had. Always a good time.

For this being our "off season", we sure have been busy around here! We hung out for the weekend at Horse Crazy Market, met a brave new friend from Save The Brays Donkey Rescue, hung out with Santa Paws from NSGRA - North Star Gay Rodeo Association, competed in the pet costume contest at Horse Crazy (and earned a ribbon!), Major got some body work from Megan Dushin Equine Bodywork. From there we headed to St. Catherine University where Major attended his favorite semi-annual "destress event" and enjoyed being groomed, pet on, loved on and having selfies taken more times than we can count, all while having the hard job of being cute and eating while inside the library.

We are still going strong - while the littles won't be attending the Racehorse Reimagined UWRF Showcase / Adoption Auction this Saturday the 16th from 12-2 at UWRF, they will be there in spirit and they can't wait to hear how the big kids do at their college graduation! From there folks will be heading to our Claddagh Farm - This Old Horse location, for a public Open House from 2-5.

If you have previously expressed interest in mini donkeys, and I have not contacted you in the past week - can you please shoot me an email at [email protected] We have two incoming that we need adopters for, if folks are interested I would like to start the process sooner rather than later so they can go directly to an adopter rather than adding stress to them by making a few moves to get to an adopter. Thanks!

We haven't posted much lately, but we have been busy! We have had a busy summer with lots of visits, parades and open houses. Today it was Frank's turn, helping celebrate a belated birthday for one or our hard working volunteers. ❤️
