What an incredible day we have had!

There are a lot of spectacular horses in the Aisle of Breeds at the Minnesota Horse Expo 2026 this weekend. And one of them is a 14-year-old off-track Standardbred gelding named Pine Dream.

He joined us after a remarkable history—nearly 200 starts with lifetime earnings over $450,000, demonstrating the heart, grit, and willingness of this horse to show up again and again.

But what matters most now isn’t what he’s done…it is what he is doing.

Like showing a couple of little girls what This Old Horse can still do.

From winning races to winning admirers--this horse has the heart of a champion. We couldn't love him more.

Love is good.

Just wanted to pop in and remind you that you can meet me this weekend at the Minnesota Horse Expo! I’ll be there with as an ambassador for Racehorse Reimagined and Minnesota Harness Racing.

Meet "PINE DREAM "— now just known as “Pine” around the barn. Pine is a 2012 trotter with over $458,000 in lifetime earnings. A true war horse in every sense of the word.

After his last race in September 2021, Pine retired due to a hock injury that ultimately prevented him from returning to competition. His owners chose a different path—one that prioritized a slower, more enjoyable life.

In 2023, Pine made his way to Racehorse Reimagined, where members of our rehab team led his recovery.

We gave him the time he needed to reset, both mentally and physically. From there, we built a structured rehab program focused on strength, balance, and long-term soundness—laying the foundation for his next chapter as he transitions into work under saddle.

You can meet Pine this weekend as we join our friends at Minnesota Harness Racing, Inc. at the Minnesota Horse Expo! He’ll be there as an ambassador for Racehorse Reimagined, Minnesota Harness Racing, and our entire racing community.

This is what second careers are all about. ❤❤❤

Still looking for that perfect Christmas present?

We can help with that! We have so many incredible horses in our program. Two shining examples are Zazrak & Glen! Both have received extensive training from two of our very talented trainers we partner with.

Zazrak [JC: Zazrak] is a grey 2010 Thoroughbred mare. She is on the petite side at just 15.3 hands. Zazrak has a short career on the track with just 4 starts at Canterbury. Her off track training with Savannah at Birchfield Equestrian Center has included English disciplines including low jumps.

Glen is also ready for his next adventure! JC: My Partner Glen is a 2020 Thoroughbred gelding. He retired from racing in 2024 after a career between the California and Minnesota circuits. He earned just over $51,000 in 16 starts with 2 firsts, 1 second, and 3 thirds to round out his record. Glen has spent the Summer with our training partner, Jenna, gaining exposure to a little bit of everything and learning the ropes to become a well-trained citizen! He is cool, calm, and collected and would make an incredible trail horse.
