Our mission is to support innovative and experiential learning in all five Munster schools in partnership with educators, parents, businesses, and the greater community.

Welcome back to school, Munster!

Our community has been through a lot in recent weeks, and as recovery continues after the tornado and extended power outages, we’re grateful for the way Munster continues to care for and support one another.

And now, as we welcome a new school year, we’re looking ahead to MEF Fall Fest on September 26! This special evening brings our community together while raising funds for innovative grants that directly support our teachers and students.

For many parents of recent Munster High School graduates, this week brings several firsts as they send their children to college, whether away from home or nearby. It’s also been a period of roller-coaster emotion given the damage our community endured during last week’s derecho.

We’d like to take a moment to congratulate every 2026 Munster High School graduate and their families.

It’s our hope that every graduate of Munster High School, past and future, benefits from a Munster Education Foundation grant. Two recent graduates — Allie Breuker and Olivia Martin, who are featured on the cover of Munster Living magazine as part of a story about MEF — can point to that impact. Allie performed in Ireland with the Munster High School Choirs, which received a grant to commission a brand-new work for their performance. Olivia used new video recording equipment awarded to her marketing class to perfect a pitch for an entrepreneurship competition.

We’re proud of all the 2026 MHS graduates, and we wish you tremendous joy and success in the years ahead.

When student entrepreneurs at Munster High School need funding to build prototypes and test their ideas, they've been able to rely on a grant from the Munster Education Foundation. Here, Brandon Ateke, who placed second in the 2026 STARTedUP Foundation state competition, shares the impact.
