So I did a thing!!!! With so many encouraging words friends and family I wrote about the life of my son! Through all the pain and grief it helped me to share with the world through my eyes just how special my child was to me! Along with other mothers who deal with this same pain we were able to express all of our emotions in our chapters! Thank you Haraka Nikkole Carswell for believing in me! Thank you for this opportunity! I would have never did this on my own! The foundation hosting the brunch, Silent Women Speaking, is publishing a book with stories from 10 mothers, including Vanessa Lopez, who lost her son in 2021.

Update: Good morning to all who have supported and continue to support the Jalen L. Hunter Foundation. We will not be having our annual Pre Mother’s Day Brunch this year. I have taken this year off to focus on healing and family! That doesn’t mean we have forgotten about you! We love you and we continue to pray for your strength daily! 2025 we will come back stronger in Christ!💙 We look forward to continuing to serve the community! 2025’s event will be dedicated to family! We love you immensely! Continue to pray for us as we continue to pray for all of you!
