The Seedlings Theatre Company Our productions inspire growth, engage discussion, and enrich the community.

We are planting the arts across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland by bringing live performances to communities and audiences that most need the life-giving enrichment that theatre provides. We are inclusive in every sense, welcoming seasoned, first-time, and non-traditional actors, directors, designers, technicians, volunteers, and audience members to engage with the performing arts in new ways.

As you wished…
We’re getting the band back together (well most of them anyway) and bringing back The Princess Bride Experience featuring The Cliffnotes of Insanity, a 40 minute version of the popular movie, alongside some fun, interactive audience experiences.

Inconceivably though…
We need to replace a couple actors and are looking for a Westley and a Count Rugen. Might you be one to embody these fine roles?

Rehearsals 1-2x per week at The Hub NWI (centrally located between Valpo, Merrillville, Portage, and Crown Point) and performances Aug 14-16, possible special event Aug 29. Please message [email protected] with interest or questions.

We are just two weeks away from The 24-Hr. Plays Hebron and you can still get involved!

We are in need of a couple more writers and directors for our short plays that will be created this during this event and of course we need all the actors and audience members who will participate and create this incredible experience.

If you’ve never been part of a 24 hour play extravaganza, you’re in for a treat!

It is a marathon and a sprint all in one and we look forward to creating art and theater and a community together!
