Six years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, Zetta Nicole' Girls was born.
I still remember our very first meeting. Eight young ladies showed up, and I was so nervous and scared that no one would come. I went upstairs at the Hammond Library to make copies, and when I came back downstairs, there they wereβmy very first group of young ladies. My heart was beating so fast, but in the best way possible.
From that day forward, the girls fell in love with the program, the activities, the support, and everything we had to offer.
Over the past six years, some of our girls have graduated, moved away, or simply moved on to the next chapter of their lives. But one thing I can proudly say is that Zetta Nicole' Girls has poured love, guidance, encouragement, knowledge, and support into so many young ladies. Many of them still come back to the organization to this very day, and that means more to me than words can express.
To every parent who trusted us, supported us, and believed in our missionβTHANK YOU. Your trust has allowed us to continue making a difference in the lives of young girls year after year.
And most importantly, thank you to my grandmother. She instilled in me the values, strength, compassion, and determination that became the foundation of this organization. Her name will continue to hold weight, even though she is no longer physically here with us.
Zetta Nicole' Girls is more than an organization. It is a legacy. It is a family. It is a place where young ladies can grow, learn, be encouraged, and know that someone believes in them.
Six years down, and we are still pouring into our girls. ππ
The legacy continues. β€οΈ
