The Hobart Police Department is now accepting applications for Full-Time and Part-Time Clerks positions. The starting salary is based upon experience and training. The hours for the position vary, days afternoons and midnights.

Welcome home, Marine Veteran Trevor Reed!! Trevor was wrongfully accused and has been imprisoned in Russia since 2019. His parents have diligently worked to get the attention of the administration in order to try to get assistance in negotiating his release. Congratulations to the team that used some masterful diplomacy in order to ensure that we did not leave this American behind. We wish Trevor the best as he gets the opportunity to rest and return to good health. This is a win for the Good Guys! 🇺🇸 Congratulations from !

The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 was signed into law designating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration honors all veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location.
