The time change has the mares a bit sassy. I am running a little behind because Alison had to get her horses fed early to take Kaia and Heather to the championships. Alyssa rode along for an extra hand. Grateful for good friends and hoping the best for the ladies. Feeding can be an adventure at times as you can see.

We can’t get over her color, she is beautiful and healthy. Itty Bitty is doing great after coming into the world backwards.

Mango is a big kid. He finished his dinner and was bored so he wanted to play with the p**p tub.

Riding with confidence to will help your horse not be distracted or scared. We tried to desensitize the horses to everything and anything, but sometimes you just have to trust in your ability and your horse trusting in you.

We were busy all day with getting the animals taken care of and cleaning stalls. We also had an opportunity to work with a local veteran photographer to help grow both businesses. We also had a former student who became a farrier stop in to check my work on Ahote. It is never a bad thing to have a second opinion at the hooves when the baby is growing.

😃 Thankful Thursday 😃

We want to express our gratitude to Enders for capturing some incredible photographs today for potential donors. As a local photographer and a veteran, he kindly requested our assistance in taking shots of horses to help him grow his business and promote a product.

We have new life on the farm. LC is doing a wonderful job cleaning the baby up. Thank goodness it’s not too cold this morning.

Trimming Day for Ahote. I wanted to make sure Ahote is still developing correctly and we don’t have any issues with his hoof. I didn’t take much hoof off I really focused on the balance and structure so he continues to grow properly.
