Show your support for one of our local hero’s.
Dear Community Members and Business owners,
The Halifax Fire Department is reaching out to ask for your support for a benefit being held for our Fire Chief, Tim Neiter, who is currently battling lymphoma. The benefit will be held on January 16, 2027, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at the Halifax Ambulance Building.
Chief Neiter has dedicated countless hours to serving the Halifax community and surrounding areas, as a volunteer firefighter and chief. Now, as Tim and his family face this difficult battle, we want to come together and answer the call for them.
We are asking residents, businesses, organizations and friends of the Halifax Fire Department to consider donating raffle baskets, items for our silent auction, or monetary donations. We would like all donations by December 20, 2026.
We understand that there are many worthwhile causes deserving of support, and we sincerely appreciate your consideration. Your generosity will directly benefit Tim and the Neiter family and show them that their community, friends and fellow firefighters are standing beside them.
