Moross Greenway Project

Moross Greenway Project We are a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that has reforested and re-landscaped seven islands on Moross Road from I-94 to St. John Hospital.

Our project is a collaborative effort of contiguous Eastside communities, churches, garden clubs and commercial organizations which are working together to create a welcoming greenscape on Moross Road including native Michigan shrubs, flowers, and trees for the purpose of enhancing our Eastside community. We have planted more than 115 trees, 500 shrubs, and 9,700 perennials. An irrigation system will reduce the need for manual maintenance.
