After much consideration, the Board has decided to dissolve MECCA due to lack of capacity. MECCA has been an organization that has provided direct services to community members from our three neighborhoods in Detroit for almost 10 years. We hope that other organizations will be able to step up to support community members with their needs and continue to bridge the gaps between our three neighborhoods. Some organizations that may provide similar services include Eastside Community Network, Brilliant Detroit, churches, neighborhood organizations, and 211 for emergency services.
