Five years and counting! 🎉

Grosse Pointe Magazine joined The War Memorial for a ghoulishly good time haunting the halls of the Alger House at Halloween Spooktacular this past Sunday.

The campus was full of costumes, laughter, and Halloween spirit as families made their way through an afternoon of festive fun.

What a day it was yesterday at Halloween Spooktacular! 🎃

From costumes and candy to crafts, games, pumpkins, and plenty of Halloween fun, we loved welcoming families to The War Memorial for an afternoon of spooky-season celebration.

The War Memorial and Next Chapter Books present an evening with acclaimed Michigan author Bonnie Jo Campbell, in conversation with local author Kelsey Ronan about Campbell’s latest book, The Spirits.

Set in a small Michigan town, 'The Spirits' is a contemporary Christmas Carol — a gritty, spooky, and ultimately heartwarming story of family, redemption, and the possibility of a new beginning.
