Grosse Pointe Theatre Grosse Pointe Theatre provides exceptional community theater productions for the SE Michigan region.

Grosse Pointe Theatre (GPT) was founded in 1947 and has been entertaining the Metro Detroit area with live theatre for 74 seasons. Grosse Pointe Theatre’s seasons include 5 Main Stage productions, one Purdon Studio Theatre black box contemporary production and two Youth on Stage shows each season. GPT currently performs at auditoriums within the Grosse Pointe Public Schools and the University Lig

gett School, bringing “community theatre to the community” and performing in venues across the five Grosse Pointe communities. Powered by 400 members who volunteer their time, energy and passion to create quality productions on stage, GPT has never been stronger as it looks toward a new permanent home. Our mission is to Connect, Create and Inspire communities through theatre.
