Meet Ten.

Ten is a sweet, gentle, playful little orange tabby boy with a wonderful personality and a big smile. He loves chasing feather toys and playing around with his favorite balls, but he's also a total purring machine who enjoys cuddles and affection. He would be a perfect fit for families with children.

Ten is especially kind and gentle with his siblings and loves having feline friends around, which means he would thrive in a home with a companion to play and snuggle with. He needs to be adopted alongside another young, friendly kitten or cat, whether that's a playful kitten already in your home or one adopted together with him. He just needs a buddy to grow up with.

Meet Yume.

Yume is a gorgeous medium-haired girl with the softest, most beautiful coat and an equally beautiful personality. She is calm and gentle but also loves to play, which makes her a wonderful balance of sweet and playful. She would be a perfect fit for families with children.

Yume absolutely loves food and turns into a little purring machine when you give her pets and affection. She may be a bit cautious when she first meets you, but she warms up quickly and soon opens her heart to show you just how loving she can be.

Because Yume loves having company, she would do best in a home with another young, playful kitten or cat to grow up alongside. Whether that's a friendly kitten already in your home or one adopted together with her, she just needs the right companion to help her blossom.

Say hello to Pop Rocks, Popsicle, and Siri.

These three sweet cats are our current residents at Pet Supermarket in Kernersville. They've been patiently waiting for their forever families and would love nothing more than to meet you in person.

Come by and spend some time with them. Each of these three has their own unique personality, and the only way to really get to know them is to say hi face-to-face. Meet little Enik.

Enik came to us as a four-week-old kitten from our local shelter. When we saw her picture, we noticed she was missing her middle toes and had what everyone was calling a "funny" eye. We said yes to her right away.

Shortly after she arrived in foster care, her foster mom noticed Enik was breathing strangely, almost like she was snorting, and it was making it hard for her to eat. She took Enik to the vet, but they couldn't figure out what was causing it. Her foster mom didn't give up. After several vet visits, they finally found a polyp in Enik's upper palate and were able to remove it. Just like that, her breathing was normal.

These days Enik is growing like a w**d. She's a sweet long-haired grey tabby who loves to run around with the other kittens, and she can even catch a ball with her little lobster paws.

She's proof that the ones with the biggest stories often have the biggest hearts. Could Enik be the next addition to your family?

Meet Clark and Google. These two are a bonded pair looking for one forever home where they can stay together.

Clark is a playful kitten who can be a little nervous and reserved around people at first. He just needs some time, patience, and a little encouragement to warm up to you. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality starts to shine through. He especially enjoys playing and spending time with his buddy Google, and he does well with other kittens. His favorite thing in the world, though, is food. Clark isn't particularly fond of being held and prefers pets on his own terms, so his ideal home is one where his boundaries are respected while he builds confidence at his own pace.

Google is a sweet boy who can be a little timid and reserved with people while he gets to know them. He also just needs time, patience, and reassurance to feel comfortable. Once he trusts you, his gentle personality really starts to shine. He may even surprise you with how much he enjoys belly rubs, and he does fairly well with being held once he feels safe.

Both boys would do best in a quiet, calm home with someone willing to give them the time and patience they need to come out of their shells. They may be okay with a calm dog given a proper adjustment period, but they would probably do best in a home without children.

Meet the sweetest little tabby you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing. Vito is a happy-go-lucky kitten with a heart as big as his purr. He loves to cuddle, happily gives hugs and kisses, and has the gentlest, most loving personality. Whether he's snuggled up in your lap or playing with his feline friends, he's always spreading joy.

He plays well with other cats but is confident enough to thrive as your one-and-only, too. No matter what kind of home he's in, one thing is certain, you'll never find a sweeter companion to welcome into your family.

What a day at the adoption event. Eight of our cats went home with their new families.

Reba, Frosty, Nova, Alfie, Brandon, Tuxina, Julius, and Finnick all found the humans who were meant for them. Some of them had been waiting a while, and watching them leave with people who were already clearly in love never gets old.

A huge thank you to the families who opened their homes, and to everyone who stops by, shares our posts, and keeps rooting for these cats. Every adoption makes room for the next one who's waiting.

Triad Independent Cat Rescue is looking for volunteers to help maintain and clean our PetSmart adoption center. If you love cats and want to give back, we would love to have you on the team.

What we need help with:
• Keeping the cats fed, watered, and in clean bedding
• Scooping and maintaining litter boxes
• Spending playtime and socialization time with our adoptable cats

No experience required, just reliability and a love for cats. Every hour you give directly helps us keep our adoption center running and our cats healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever homes.

Meet Koi! 🧡

This handsome orange and white boy is a total sweetheart. His foster says he purrs up a storm, loves playing with his siblings and chasing a string toy, and has the cutest little low meow. He's remarkably calm for a kitten, which makes him great company whether you want a lap buddy or a playmate.

Still looking for her person: meet Ginger. 🐾

Ginger is a sweet, gentle little girl, only 6.4 pounds, and she's got personality for twice her size. She loves her toys, especially the laser and anything that chirps, and she will absolutely show you her collection of springs and pom-poms if you give her the chance.

More than anything, Ginger wants a lap. She loves being talked to, brushed, rubbed, and loved on, and she settles right in beside you like she's always lived there. She is affectionate, happy, and would make someone a wonderful companion.

A quick note about FIV: Ginger is FIV positive, and we know that word scares a lot of people off. It doesn't need to. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, so as long as she goes to a home where any other cats get along peacefully, there is no real risk of transmission. FIV cats can live long, full, healthy lives, and Ginger has a great appetite, plenty of energy, and no shortage of love to give.

What she needs: a quiet adult home where she can be the center of someone's attention. She has not been around children or dogs, so a calm environment is best. Her foster can see her with a woman who has time to spend with her.

DOB: 6/30/2023

Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, FIV and FeLV testing, and any medications she needed while in foster care such as flea and tick prevention, dewormer, and antibiotics.
