Think you know The Four Seasons? Think again.

Violinist Simone Porter joins the Greensboro Symphony for Max Richter’s The Four Seasons Recomposed, a striking reimagining of Vivaldi’s iconic work.

You’ll hear Vivaldi in it. You just won’t hear him the same way.

There’s something special about experiencing live music together. ✨

Opening Night reminded us what makes these performances worth showing up for: the energy onstage, the unexpected moments, and the experience of hearing it all unfold live.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Tanger Center, and to our Principal Guest Conductor Chelsea Tipton and pianist Jeffrey Biegel for a memorable start to the season!

And to our musicians, staff, volunteers and supporters who made the evening possible, thank you. 💙

Here are a few moments from the night.

Churro came with options. Obviously. 😂

He’s ready for Opening Night!

Tux not required. But when an orchestra is dressed up and the hall looks that good, why not make a little occasion of it? 😉
