Take a look at what’s on our Meals on Wheels menu for October! 🍽️

Neighbors are invited to join us at 11:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a free, hot meal. Meals will be served at 11:30 AM.

✨ No registration required! Just come join us, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend some time with your neighbors.

Suggested Donation: Neighbors over 60: $3.50, Neighbors under 60: $5.00

🥖🥗 As the cooler months arrive, let’s make sure our neighbors have enough to eat.🥫🍝

Add a food donation card to your cart at checkout at Meijer (Wyoming/Clyde Park) from this Sunday, the 27th, through December 26.

Your donation will help support our neighbors at Streams and make a meaningful difference in our community. Every card is an opportunity to help put food on the table.

Together, we can make sure our neighbors feel supported and reminded that they’re part of a caring community 🤝

Huge Thanks to our neighbors Veurink's RV Center Grand Rapids and Midway RV Center for donating a combined 9,640 pounds of food during our 2nd Annual Pantry Pile-Up!

💙 What an incredible gift from Covenant! 💙

Covenant donated 376 boxes totaling 17,296 individual diapers — and the impact is HUGE!

This donation will provide approximately 23 weeks of diaper distribution, which is nearly 6 months of diapers for families in our community! 🙌

The sizes provided are among our most-needed and fastest-moving sizes!

We are so grateful to Covenant for helping ensure families have access to a basic necessity that makes such a meaningful difference.

🌱 Our Community Garden is Ready! 🌿

We’re excited to kick off another growing season at Streams, Healthy Neighborhood Hub — and even more excited to start planting in our brand new greenhouse too! 🌻🍅🥬

Our community garden is prepped and ready, bringing neighbors together to grow fresh food, learn new skills, and build a healthier community. The new greenhouse means even more opportunities to extend the season and grow together year-round.

🌟 Celebrating Partnership & Impact! 🌟

For the past 2 years, we’ve been grateful to partner with the West Michigan Literacy Center to offer Health Literacy classes for English Language Learners 💬❤️

These classes empower learners to better understand their health, navigate systems, and confidently advocate for themselves and their families 🩺✨

👶 Free childcare is provided
📊 100+ learners impacted right here at Streams over the past 2 years!

We also love partnering with Calvin University nursing students, who gain hands-on experience by practicing vitals, helping fill out forms, and building meaningful connections with learners 🤝

We’re excited for many more classes ahead and even more lives impacted through this incredible program! 🙌💙
