Good evening Superstar families. We are still collecting box tops that you clip, but..... You can now also download the BoxTop for education app on your phone and scan your receipt from the store to also collect box tops for Southwood, just make sure that you select "Southwood Elementary" as the school you are collecting for. We will be sending a letter home this week about this. Thank you so much for your help.

Superstars, the Holiday Shop is underway. Starting today Tuesday December 3, 2019 through Friday, December 6, 2019 from 10:00 am through 3:00 pm. We love seeing the looks on the students faces as the come to shop for all of the family members, they are all so excited. They get to shop for everyone without anyone being right there seeing what they got them. We hope to see your Superstars there this week.

Tomorrow Thursday, September 26 is the day the subs from the fundraiser come in. There will be a reminder paper coming home with your students today. We do ask that you come to Southwood to pick the orders up between the hours of 4pm and 7pm. Unfortunately, we do not have any room to store or hold any orders for a later date pick up.

Does your child want to earn an extra recess? Yes, you say? Have them bring in those box tops by February 25, 2019. Once we count them and figure out which class has collected the most box tops will be announced and will be getting an extra recess.

Happy Holidays Superstar parents!!! Monday, December 4, 2018 our annual Holiday Shop will begin at 9:30 am. Your child will have a scheduled time to shop with his or her class on a certain day/time. We love to see how excited the students get each year to be able to shop for their families and friends. If you are willing to volunteer some of your time on Monday, Dec. 3, Tuesday, Dec. 4; or Thursday Dec. 6th to help with the holiday shop we would love to have you help! Still interested in entering to win that 55" TCL Roku tv? The raffle is being extended to Tuesday, December 4, 2018 @ 2:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00 a piece or 6 for $25.00. The winner will be drawn Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 and will be called the same day. Tv will have to be picked up by Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 by 4:00 pm. Have a question about the raffle? Just wanted to say Thank You to those that turned in box tops. We were able to earn $393.80 with all of our box tops that we were able to turn in on November 1st. Keep on collecting those box tops.

Just a friendly reminder. Tomorrow Thursday November 15 is the day to pick up the sub orders. You can pick them up by the office from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Thank you all for your participation and hard work!!!
