A few weeks ago, we shared a volunteer opportunity regarding the President position for our league. We wanted to provide an update to our Little League family.

As many of you know, our current President will soon be taking maternity leave to welcome a new addition to her family. While she steps away to focus on this exciting chapter, our dedicated Board of Directors will be working together to ensure all league operations continue smoothly. We are grateful for her leadership and look forward to welcoming her back when the time is right.

We are also pleased to share that we already have a highly respected and familiar member of our league community who has expressed interest in serving as President. The official election process will take place this October, and more information will be shared as we get closer.

Our league is fortunate to have so many passionate volunteers who care deeply about our players, families, facilities, and future. We remain committed to continuing the improvements, growth, and positive momentum we've built together.

Thank you for your continued support of our league and the volunteers who make it all possible.

As part of our ongoing efforts to restore and improve our Little League facilities for our players and families, we recently had the incredible opportunity to replace three of our scoreboards thanks to the generosity of local sponsors.

While this is a huge step forward, we still have two fields that need new scoreboards. We're reaching out to our community partners, local businesses, and supporters to help us continue making improvements that will benefit our players for years to come.

**Volunteer Opportunity: League President at Orchard Mesa Little League**

Orchard Mesa Little League is seeking a dedicated and passionate volunteer to serve as League President. This is a meaningful leadership role for someone who cares deeply about youth development, community engagement, and the positive impact of sports.

About the Role:
The League President serves as the face of Orchard Mesa Little League, providing leadership, direction, and vision for the organization. This individual plays a key role in ensuring a positive, inclusive, and well-organized experience for players, families, coaches, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
-Represent and promote the league within the community
-Lead with integrity, fairness, and a commitment to the league’s mission
-Effectively handle conflicts and navigate challenging situations with professionalism
-Carefully weigh decisions with consideration for their short- and long-term impact
-Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, sponsors, and community leaders
-Support and collaborate with board members, volunteers, and families

What We’re Looking For:
-A genuine passion for youth sports and community involvement
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-The ability to make thoughtful, balanced decisions
-Confidence in managing conflict and resolving issues constructively
-A collaborative mindset and willingness to engage with diverse stakeholders
