Attention lads and lassies! Please read the following important announcement about this year's Highland Grand Valley Highland Games.
It has become more and more evident that this is a tough time for small businesses, vendors, and customers alike. We only want to give the absolute best, memorable, and most fulfilling experience of the Highland Games possible. We have determined that this year we cannot put on the Highland Games up to this standard for the following reasons:
The increasing costs of small business, vendors, travel expenses, and merchandise is putting many of us in a bind without guaranteed payoff, as our customers (you all) are feeling the severe effects of inflation too. We have also received less community support and sponsorships this year, and we know that this too, is a side effect of cutting costs and inflation.
So, with great sadness, we have decided to take a year off and let everyone gain their footing. But we promise that next year we WILL come back next year - bigger and better! Our planning teams are already in meetings and we would love to hear from you - what do you want to see/have at the 2025 Grand Valley Highland Games? Please let us know!
In the meantime, we are sorry to have to postpone until next year. We know that this event is looked forward to all year by many guests and vendors alike. We hope that by taking this year off, we can come back better and stronger and make next year the best one yet!
Thank you for your understanding and love, and please know that this decision was a very hard one for all of us.
