A couple of shots from our Halloween Party last week! We had all sorts of characters stop by the YC, which was certainly a treat!👻💛

We hope all of our kiddos have a fun and safe Halloween!🎃👻 Our YC Halloween Party was a ton of fun last night, but we think Anthony might have had the most fun of all 😂 (it makes it funnier that the kids are absolutely unbothered by his antics)! Happy Halloween from our crew to you!💛

🐾 Congratulations to our Executive Director, Molly, on her induction into the South High Bulldog Hall of Fame!

Through her leadership and dedication, Molly has made a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of local youth. We couldn’t be prouder to see her recognized for her contributions alongside four other incredible inductees!

If you’re a South High Bulldog, keep an eye out for Molly’s plaque on the wall of your school. We can’t think of a more deserving honoree!💛

Every year at the YC, there’s that one thing our kiddos just can’t get enough of! 🫶 One year it’s pickleball, another it’s four square or pick-up sticks… and this year? IT’S BEADS!🎨✨ Our kiddos have been busy creating, crafting, and showing off some seriously amazing bead creations! We love seeing their creativity shine.

And a special shoutout to the dedicated few who help track down those tiny little beads during cleanup at the end of the night. 😂🙌 Not all heroes wear capes… some chase beads!

We are incredibly honored to be named the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year at the Business Awards hosted by the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce!

To stand alongside so many incredible local businesses and organizations at this morning’s awards ceremony was an honor in itself. To have the work of the Glens Falls Area Youth Center recognized in this way means even more.

This award belongs to our entire YC community — our incredible staff, generous supporters, community partners and board members, and, most importantly, the young people who walk through our doors every day and remind us why this work matters.

For more than 58 years, the YC has been a place where kids can find opportunity, connection, support, and a space to simply be themselves. We are so proud of what we’re building together, and so grateful to everyone who believes in our mission and continues to help us move it forward.

Honoring the past. Building the future.💛

Thank you, ARCC , for this incredible recognition and for celebrating the organizations and businesses working every day to make our community stronger.

We’re proud to be the YC. And we’re even prouder to be part of this community.💛

It’s been a busy fall at the YC — and an equally busy season out in our community! 🍂💛

A huge thank you to the ARCC for inviting us to Wedding Venue Saratoga County for their ARCC Women’s Business Council meetup, where we were honored to be the nonprofit spotlight! Molly and Carly had the opportunity to share more about our YC members, our mission, and the work we’re doing to support local kids.

We kept the momentum going at the 2026 ARCC Community Shred Day! Community members were able to safely shred their documents on-site while donating much-needed hygiene and food supplies to the YC. Talk about a win-win for our community! 🙌

September was a busy and exciting month, and we’re so grateful for the continued support, partnership, and friendship of everyone at the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. We’re lucky to have such incredible community partners in our corner! 💛

Thanks again to Kayla from Grounded on Glen St for leading our first classes in the Matt Congdon Wellness Center! Here are some moments from her recent weight lifting circuit and breathing class 💪😮‍💨 Mindfulness and moving our bodies—it doesn’t get better than that!🙌
