Session 2 of the Human Side of Systems is underway!
The Engagement Gap: Rethinking How We Reach People with Brittany Rozelle is happening at Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center right now! This collaboration with the Adirondack Rural Health Network/Adirondack Health Institute brought together over 30 healthcare and social care professionals for this session which reframes engagement through a human-centered lens, exploring how communication, context and competing priorities shape behavior - and how small shifts can lead to a more meaningful connection.

Yesterday, we held our last MASH Camp of the summer season at Shenendehowa High School/Shenendehowa Central Schools on Monday, July 27th, with 37 students from within the school district!

Students participated in hands on activities led by professionals representing Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene with Hudson Valley Community College, Nursing and Microbiology with professionals from Ellis Medicine, Neurology, Pharmacy, and Psychology. They took a mid-day break outside to learn about being a Flight Medic and explore the helicopter with LifeNet of New York and ended the day learning about the roles of a Surgical Tech and Surgeon. They even learned how to suture!

Thank you to Shenendehowa High School, all the presenters and all the students who were so engaged throughout the day!
