I spent the weekend volunteering at the LARAC June Arts Festival — over 15,000 people moving through Glens Falls City Park, 165 artists, food trucks, live music, and a community that showed up in full.
It has remained the single largest economic driver weekend in the city and county. And standing in the middle of it, I kept thinking: this is the creative economy. Not a future projection. Not a study waiting to be released. This.

This installment of The Impact Brief is about the murals on our walls, the market hiding in plain sight, and why the businesses paying attention right now are the ones who will be best positioned when the WWIDA creative economy study makes it all undeniable.
It features Hannah Williams — one of the most prolific muralists working in this region — and what she's building for artists, for building owners, and for the community at large. The writing is already on the wall. It needs you to look up and see. it. Leaders who want visibility with impact will position themselves for this market before the study hits.
