Thirsty Thursday Recap ⚾🏃🎆

We logged a couple of miles around Settlers Hill in Geneva before heading over to the Kane County Cougars game! We took advantage of the Thirsty Thursday specials on drinks and hot dogs, cheered on the Cougars to a win, and wrapped up the evening with an awesome fireworks show.

Great miles, great company, and a fun summer night together. Thanks to everyone who came out—we'll see you at the next Thirsty Thursday! 💙

Join Fox River Trail Runners on Wednesday evening, July 22, for the Summer Sunset Youth Races & 5K Run at beautiful Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles, IL. 🌅🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Youth races, a fast 5K, a summer evening start, and post-race music performed by School of Rock (Geneva). Bring the family, bring your running friends, and come spend a fun-filled evening of races with FRTR!

Proceeds help support the FRTR Youth Scholarship Fund which has awarded over $170,000 in college scholarships since inception.

Thirsty Thursday Recap 🍻🏃‍♀️☀️

What a beautiful evening for a run! Last night, we logged 3–4 miles in perfect weather before heading over to Pollyanna Brewing to check out their new patio. We enjoyed great company, live music, and a relaxing evening together after our run.

It was a wonderful way to connect with fellow runners, spend time outdoors, and kick off the weekend. Thanks to everyone who joined us—we loved seeing both familiar and new faces!

6/20 FRTR Saturday Group Run + Hydration Info
🕡 Time & Location: 6:30 AM at the Fabyan Windmill (1500 Crissey Ave, Batavia, IL 60510)
👟 Route: From the Windmill, north around Mount Saint Mary Park/Rt 64 (6 mi - 7 or 8 mi) plus South to Batavia Loop (3 mi).
💧 Hydration: Water and Gatorade will be available until approximately 9:30 am on the east side of the river near Mount Saint Mary Park (3 mi from Windmill) and at the Windmill. Water fountains are also along the route in downtown Batavia and at MSM.

*** 6/18 update: The power lines along the Fox River Trail in Geneva have been repaired. The trail was back open as of 8:30 a.m. ***

TEMPORARY TRAIL CLOSURE: Power lines are down on the Fox River Trail in Geneva, between Fabyan Windmill and the Geneva Water Treatment Plant. That section of the trail is closed until ComEd can make the repairs. Please mind all barricades and watch for safety equipment along the trail.
