From introductions to team building to small groups to “Its a wonderful life” to hug circle to making new friends. How 12 hours changes a teens life! That’s what happened yesterday at our snowball event!

June 29th we had our first ever summer one day event. We had three small groups and spent 12+ hours and had a great time.
I met our future staffers for our FALL 2024 event which is going to be November 8-10, 2024. Things are
looking up and we are pumped.

For those that do not know. We at gfrvos have been trying rebuild snowball here in our area. Covid did a really number on us. It has been a rough 3 years. A few months ago I heard about Naperville having an event o April 26-28. I reached out to Kate Keir at Naperville and asked for help. I am sitting in the dining hall at Lorado Taft on that Sunday morning and relaxing before our final day here at snowball. We have a small group of dedicated teens from our area that are very excited to head back and rebuild our snowball. We are gonna rise up. Oh by the way. They have cinnamon rolls here this am!
