The TCFS Emotional Wellness Team is offering two workshops for families of preschoolers this month: What to do with Anger (Tuesday, June 16) and What to do with Worry (Tuesday, June 23). The workshops each run from 6pm-6:45pm at the Geneva TriCity Family Services Office (1120 Randall Court).

These no-cost workshops offer practical tips when dealing with big feelings in little bodies. Details in comments. Register here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PSJune2026 (intended for children ages 3-7 to attend with their caregivers).

This month’s staff self-care art directive involved thinking about our core values and creating collages based off those attributes. You can do this exercise at home too—identify your top five guiding forces, flip through a magazine to find images or words that represent them, then craft your own collection of visual reminders.

More photos from this year's Room for Growth lunch and learn event. We celebrated Mental Health Awareness Month with a lovely group of providers, supporters, and community members--all gathered to hear Dr. Regina Koepp speak on "The Longevity Mindset."

Understanding more about the obstacles aging adults face when seeking mental health care is important to our staff at TCFS. We currently have 7 therapists paneled with Medicare--the public insurance that those over 65 rely on. Many of the clients in this age group are overcoming generational trauma and stigma in order to show up in the therapy space and we are committed to making them feel as safe and seen as possible.
