Wolfe's Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment is a one-of-a-kind place on the coast of Maine that connects farmers, eaters, and learners to the land and animals at the core of our food systems. A sustainable coastal farm for nearly sixty years, Wolfe’s Neck Center is home to an oceanfront campground, leading demonstration farm, and educational resource center for innovative practices in regenerative agriculture.

We’re excited to share a new collaboration with Liberty Graphics Nature T-shirts and local artist Vanessa Nesvig!

Together, we’ve created a custom design inspired by the beauty and spirit of our campus. Available on both a t-shirt and tea towel, this limited-edition artwork can be purchased at the Farm Store, and online and in-store at the Liberty Graphics’ Freeport location.

A portion of every purchase supports our work advancing regenerative agriculture, education and research.

Learn what's buzzing on campus! 🐝 The Discovery Garden is now home to 10,000 (and growing) Russian-Hybrid honey bees. The hive will allow us to talk about the important role of pollinators on farms across the Northeast.

Visit wolfesneck.org/calendar to see a list of events, and visit our Farm Store for drop-in class opportunities.

Meet some of the newest faces on campus! 👋 From curious goats to playful piglets, spring has brought a new generation of animals to our pastures. Come say hello, learn about their role in agriculture and enjoy a visit with our youngest residents.

How do we engage the next generation with their food system? One way is through hands-on programs and classes such as "Chicken or the Egg - Harvest Your Own!". 🐔

During the class, participants will learn about chickens and their role in agriculture, collect the eggs directly from our coop and take home their own dozen to enjoy in their favorite dishes.

Reserve your spot in one of the many classes this month by visiting wolfesneck.org/calendar.

Oceanfront Camping is more than a place to stay. It’s part of a larger story about land, community, and connection.

What began decades ago as a simple coastal campground has grown into a space where people can experience Maine’s landscape while engaging with a working farm and a mission driven organization. Today, it offers a unique intersection of recreation, education, and agriculture.

Understanding how this space has evolved helps illustrate what is possible when land is stewarded with intention and shared with the public.
