The 12th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament is coming up on September 14, and this is our last call for sponsors and raffle prize donations.

Since 2015, this tournament has helped us raise $143,000 for youth in our community. Every sponsor, golfer, and donated prize helps us continue that impact.

That’s a wrap on the 106th Annual Kiwanis Capital District Convention!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s convention a success. A special thank you to Jennifer Mackowski for her board leadership and for playing such an important role in bringing this event together.

We also want to recognize Rob Dodd for his dedication and service as Divsion 2 Lieutenant Governor. Rob, we are so proud of your accomplishments and grateful for the leadership you’ve provided throughout the year.

We were proud to have had Eddie Windsor, Jennifer Mackowski, Joy McIntire, Rob Dodd, Melissa Dodd, Cory Fore, Jonathan Windsor, and Lucy Melson representing Kiwanis of Fredericksburg at this year’s convention.

Three members of Kiwanis of Fredericksburg will be delegates in Annapolis for the 106th Annual Capital District Kiwanis Convention, August 21–23!

Jennifer Mackowski, Eddie Windsor, and Jonathan Windsor will join Kiwanians from across the Capital District for fellowship, educational workshops, great speakers, and opportunities to learn and grow together.

We’re especially excited that Jonathan will be presenting “Marketing Your Mission: Building a Membership Strategy for Your Kiwanis Club.” Using Kiwanis of Fredericksburg as a real-world case study, the workshop will help clubs evaluate their outreach, identify opportunities for growth, and develop practical strategies to attract new members and strengthen community awareness.

We were proud to support the Fredericksburg Area Museum's Downtown Sounds Concert Series as a Benefactor Sponsor!

On August 7, our members joined the FAM Summer Concert Series in Market Square, where we helped set up, staffed our Kiwanis table, and pitched in with teardown at the end of the evening.

Supporting organizations and events that bring our community together is another way we serve Fredericksburg. We're grateful to the Fredericksburg Area Museum for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a great evening.
