What is Kiwanis?

It’s a simple question, but one worth asking.

Kiwanis of Fredericksburg is a community of people who come together to serve, build relationships, support local organizations, and create opportunities for kids.

This video gives you a look at who we are, what we do, and why we serve.

A special thank you to Heber Castro for producing this video and helping us tell the Kiwanis story. We truly appreciate your time, talent, and support!

Giving back where we’ve already made connections.

Kiwanis of Fredericksburg recently dropped off a check to the Brisben Center, continuing our support for an organization serving people experiencing homelessness in our community.

We’re proud to support the Brisben Center and the work they do every day. From our Little Free Library project to this donation, we’re glad to keep showing up.

Your hands can change lives.

A helping hand. A volunteer’s hand. A hand reaching out to someone who needs it.

Service doesn’t always look like something big. Sometimes, it starts with simply being willing to help.

What will you do with your hands?

We do it for them.

Because childhood should be filled with opportunity. Every kid deserves the chance to learn something new, discover their strengths, and imagine a future full of possibilities.

That’s why we keep showing up for the kids in our community.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month, we are recognizing the female heroes who have faced breast cancer, honor those we’ve lost, and support the families, friends, caregivers, and communities standing alongside them.

Awareness matters. Support matters. And so does showing up for one another.
