🏆 Proud moment for Post 3285!

We are honored to bring home the Diamond Excellence Award alongside our incredible partners Contour Construction at the ABC Greater Baltimore 2026 Excellence in Construction Awards.

This project was a true labor of love, and seeing our partnership recognized on stage in front of the entire Maryland construction community was unforgettable. A massive thank you to the entire team at Contour Construction for their dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment to our veterans, their families, and our Post.

🇺🇸 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🏃‍♂️✨

Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the Rivers & Rails Marathon Weekend, a special Veterans Outreach Event celebrating our history, community, and local heroes across Brunswick, MD, Harpers Ferry, WV, and Bolivar, WV!

We need enthusiastic volunteers to make race day an incredible experience for everyone involved.

🙌 Ways You Can Help:

• Event Coordination: Assist with pre-race setup and general logistics.
• Race Day Support: Help create a fun, high-energy atmosphere along the course and cheer runners across the finish line!
• Bring a Vet! Come out, support our veterans, and rally behind the participants.

Prefer to lace up your running shoes instead? Races include the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and the Veterans Challenge 5K.

💭 This Year's Theme: "What A Veteran Taught Me About America"

High Schoolers (Grades 9–12): Enter the Voice of Democracy audio essay competition for a chance at up to $35,000 in scholarships.

Middle Schoolers (Grades 6–8): Enter the Patriot's Pen written essay competition for a chance at up to $5,000.

Winners are recognized at the Post, Region, State, and National levels! Scan the QR code in the graphic for application details and submission guidelines.
