Meet Vanpany, an UpSpire Recycling Specialist at the City of Fort Worth Drop-Off Station. Through our pilot program with the City, Vanpany helps educate residents and encourages them to divert recyclable materials from the landfill. She saw an opportunity to increase the amount of recyclables to be diverted and helped implement some new processes to make diversion even more effective.

Since launching in April, the program has helped increase the City’s diversion rate by nearly 125%, thanks to Vanpany's awareness and strategic thinking.

Together, we’re making recycling easier and creating a bigger impact in our community.
