for Our Village π

We are so grateful for our meal sponsor, Mr. Tom Spencer! You continue to be such a huge blessing to our ministry and our precious friends. Thank you for helping us make sure they feel loved, seen, and remembered. π«ΆπΌ
Today we served beef hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and food rescued from Corporate CafΓ© in Westlake. We also had PB&J sandwiches made with love by Penny. π₯°
Our kitchen crew was amazing as always, and we welcomed new helpers who took the time to complete their food handler courses so they could serve alongside us. Thank you for saying yes! We had lots of smiles today! π
Because of generous donations, we were able to pass out bus passes, toilet paper, backpacks with drink containers filled with Alkaline water, cases of water, and sleeping bags.
A special thank you to our friends at AT&T Pioneers β Fort Worth Council for the water and sleeping bags. What a blessing!
We were also blessed to have Deacon Gainer from TrueVine Baptist Church join us. Thank you, sir, for praying over our food, volunteers, and our unhoused friends. Those prayers matter. βοΈ
And our clothing team continues to make it happen! Thank you to Flo, Manuel, June, Melisa and Elise for gathering donations and making sure clothing, shoes, hygiene items, and blankets get into the hands of those who need them. π
To everyone who sends monetary donationsβthank you. Your generosity allows us to continue caring for members of our community experiencing homelessness and meeting practical needs along the way.

Lord, thank You for every person who showed up today with a willing heart. Thank You for every donor, volunteer, sponsor, and prayer warrior. Continue to protect our unhoused friends, provide for their needs, and remind them that they are loved. Bless every hand that gives and every heart that serves. In Jesusβ name, Amen. βοΈ

We will be taking this coming Sunday off to enjoy the three-day weekend, rest, refresh, renew, and unwind. This is the only Sunday of the year that we donβt serve.
We will definitely miss our friends. π
