Thank You, Jesus, for another Sunday and another opportunity to serve Your children. ✝️
Some Sundays, you leave feeling tired. Other Sundays, you leave feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for what God can do when people come together with willing hearts. Today was one of those days. ❤️
We were blessed to serve our precious friends experiencing homelessness, and there is SO much to be thankful for!
🍝 FOOD, FELLOWSHIP & GENEROUS HEARTS
A HUGE thank-you to Mr. Spencer for sponsoring half of today’s meal! Your continued generosity means so much to this ministry.
Today’s menu included spaghetti, beef hot dogs, Frito pie, and turkey and ham sandwiches!
🥩 Thank you to our friends at Texas Beef Initiative for donating the beef.
🥗 Thank you to Corporate Cafe Westlake for the salads, bread, and desserts. We are so grateful for your continued partnership!
🥜 It was wonderful having All Saints Catholic Church — PB&J Ministry join us again today! Thank you for coming back and serving alongside us. It was great seeing y’all!
🐾 Thank you to our partners at Don’t Forget to Feed Me Pet Food Bank for providing pet food for our friends’ fur babies. Their furry family members matter, too!
💜 LOVE IN ACTION — MEETING REAL NEEDS
Our core volunteers were BUSY today! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to distribute:
👕 Clothing, shoes, and socks
🧼 Hygiene items and pink bags with hygiene essentials and tumblers in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
🛏️ Blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags
💧 Bottled water
⛺ Tents and flashlights
🚌 Bus passes to help with transportation needs
A special THANK YOU to AT&T Pioneers–Fort Worth Council for the sleeping bags and to everyone whose donations helped provide these essential items.
And to everyone who gives monetary donations—please know that YOUR DONATIONS ARE AT WORK! They help us purchase items like bus passes, tents, flashlights, and other necessities when needs arise. Every dollar truly matters. 💜
🙌🏼 TEAMWORK MAKES IT HAPPEN!
A big thank-you to our kitchen crew. We finished early and made it to the serving site ahead of schedule! That’s what happens when everyone works together with a servant’s heart.
We were also blessed to have Young Men’s Service League — Mansfield join us today. Thank you for choosing to spend your time serving alongside UTB!
To every volunteer who cooked, packed, loaded, organized, distributed, prayed, and showed up ready to serve—THANK YOU. We don’t take your time or your hearts for granted. You are helping us be the hands and feet of Jesus, and we are grateful God brought you to this ministry. 🙏🏼❤️
This is what community looks like. This is what love in action looks like. And we truly are BETTER TOGETHER!
