BTX CERT had a wonderful time supporting Center for ASD at their Fall Family Thrive event last Friday. 🍂🎉

We were happy to lend a helping hand in multiple ways, from providing games to helping with event cleanup at the end of the evening. Our volunteers were glad to be part of an event that brings families together and creates meaningful experiences for our community.

We truly value our partnership with Center for ASD and appreciate the opportunity to support the incredible work they do for individuals and families. Thank you for letting us be part of such a special event! 🧡

🚒💚 A BIG CONGRATULATIONS FROM BTX CERT! 💙👏

We’re excited to celebrate the inaugural class of the Burleson Fire/EMS Citizens Fire Academy! 🎓 Four of our BTX CERT members took part in this amazing opportunity to learn more about our local firefighters and paramedics and what goes on behind the scenes of emergency response.

Over seven weeks, participants got hands-on experience, learned new skills, and gained an even greater appreciation for the teamwork and dedication it takes to serve our community. 🚒🔥

We’re proud of our four CERT members for taking the time to learn, grow, and find new ways to support the Burleson community! Help us congratulate them and the entire graduating class! 🎉

🎉 Congratulations to our newest CERT graduates! 🎉

We’re proud to celebrate this group of dedicated individuals who have completed Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training. 👏

Over the course of their training, they learned valuable skills in disaster preparedness, fire safety, search and rescue, disaster psychology, teamwork, and emergency response. They put in the time, stepped outside their comfort zones, and worked together to become better prepared to help themselves, their families, their neighbors, and our community when it matters most.

We’re excited to see all the ways you’ll continue to help our community.🚨

September is National Emergency Preparedness Month, and Burleson Emergency Operations Manager Ryan Rojas wants to remind residents about the importance of having an emergency pet kit ready. Here's why:

• Disasters can strike at any time, and being prepared can mean the difference between reuniting with your pet or not.

• An emergency kit ensures your pet has the essentials they need during a stressful situation.

🐶😺 Don't forget to make sure your pet's ID tag is up-to-date and microchip your pet for an extra layer of security.
