📻🚨 Last Saturday, our CERT team gathered for their monthly meeting where Program Manager Bill Hymes led an informative session on Communications: Radio Protocol & Etiquette.

Strong communication is a critical part of emergency response, and our volunteers continue sharpening the skills that help keep our community prepared and connected. Great job, Burleson CERT! 👏

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Burleson Police Department is partnering with the DEA to give our community a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused, expired or unwanted medications.

Drop-off locations:
Walmart parking lot, 951 SW Wilshire Blvd
Pathway Church, 325 NW Renfro St, NW Tarrant, Door 4

They will accept prescription and over-the-counter medications in both pill and liquid form.

Burleson Police Department and Citizens on Patrol will be on site working the event.

This program helps prevent medication misuse, reduces the risk of accidental poisoning and gives families a responsible way to dispose of old medications safely.
