Investing in our team means investing in the youth we serve! 🌟

On Tuesday, 26 members of our Afterschool Program team came together for a Camp Fire Learning Lab training on Supporting Youth with Strength-Based Approaches. Led by our Afterschool Program Director, Tammie Hankerson, the session focused on recognizing and nurturing the strengths of every young person we serve.

The people behind the work are what make our program so impactful.

We're proud to introduce the team supporting our Camp Fire Early Education Apprenticeship participants throughout the 2026-2027 program year. From staff and community partners to program alumni, this group brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to helping early educators succeed.

Through mentoring, coaching, professional development, and workplace learning, they'll be there to support growth, celebrate achievements and help educators reach their goals.

And seeing apprenticeship alumni return to support the next generation of educators? That's the impact of apprenticeship in action.

At our Teens in Action® Family Day at NRH2O, participants enjoyed a day of fun, connection, and celebration. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, each teen also received a backpack filled with school supplies and personal care products to help them start the school year prepared and confident.

We're grateful for the community support that helps our young people grow, connect, and thrive.
