Special Edition Business Chat, 09/09:

Our monthly Business Chat is designed to connect prospective vendors with NTTA business unit representatives, procurement staff, certification partners, and advocacy organizations. This event provides valuable insight into doing business with NTTA and offers information on upcoming contracting opportunities.

This special edition will feature a presentation on the upcoming NTTA Western Operations Center Renovation Project. NTTA Maintenance and Facilities staff will provide an overview of the project scope, anticipated timelines etc. Scopes of work extend to multiple CSI divisions, including concrete, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, communications, and more. Meet the Chamber: Lindsey Corbitt, Director of Operations

Lindsey has spent a year and a half helping the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce grow. Her career has been centered on strengthening small businesses, building strategic partnerships, and creating programs that drive economic opportunity. Through leadership roles in chamber of commerce management, nonprofit consulting, and event operations, she developed expertise in organizational strategy, fundraising, membership growth, and community engagement. That path led her to FWMBCC, where she gets to help advance the Chamber's mission of empowering entrepreneurs and fostering a thriving business community.

We asked her a few questions.

What's one thing you wish more Fort Worth business owners knew the Chamber could do for them?

"I wish more Fort Worth business owners knew that the Chamber is for everyone, regardless of industry, business size, or generation. Whether you're launching your first business, scaling an established company, or planning for the next generation, we're here to connect you with the resources, relationships, education, and opportunities that help businesses grow. We would love to see even more businesses from diverse industries become part of our Chamber, because a strong, thriving business community is built on the success of every sector."

What's a local small business or Fort Worth spot you're loyal to?

"That's impossible to answer! I will say that I am a personable person and enjoy our local businesses that visit us and update us on how and what they are doing. We love engagement!"

Experts on business consulting and connecting to business funding. In 2025, the TSBDC assisted in closing $28.7 million in owner investments & closed loans and provided business consulting expertise to businesses throughout Tarrant County.
